DocU Solution© DMLink provides document management integration between DOCSFusion® or DOCS Open® clients and SAP®. After DocU Solution DMLink is installed, the DocU Solution menu commands and options appear within the native CyberDOCS®, PowerDOCS®, or DOCS Open® user interface. DocU Solution DMLink allows the user to do the following:

• Send document profile information to SAP, where a document information record (DIR) is created. The DIR corresponds with the actual document stored in DOCSFusion or DOCS Open.
• Link the document profiled to SAP to various SAP business objects. A document can be linked to multiple different SAP business objects of the same or different object type. (For example, a document may be linked to customer 104 and customer 342, or it may be linked to customer 193 and material 42905.) Also, a business object can have an unlimited number of documents linked to it. A user can view the existing object links of a document at any time.
• Use the DocU Solution Find function to determine the key field values of SAP business objects to be linked to documents.
• View document history to see when a document was profiled to SAP, and when object links were added or deleted. If the profile was deleted from SAP, the history will state when the deletion occurred.
• Use SAP to see the document profile information and business object links passed to SAP. The SAP user can also view and/or print the document from within SAP because DocU Solution DMLink provides a seamless interface to those document processing functions.
